Thierry Henry Says Ex-Manchester United Star Is 'Best' Premier League Player of All Time

Arsenal Legend Thierry Henry has gone on record and
named his favourite Premier League player of all time,
who he claims is the best.
However, despite his Gunners affiliation, the Frenchman
opted for a a selection that will surprise some.
The World Cup winner opted against the likes of Dennis
Bergkamp, Steven Gerrard and Cristiano Ronaldo to
plump for a player underrated by many.
Henry was speaking to Sky presenter Kay Burley about
confidence in sport and when posed the question about
his all time favourtie, Henry said without hesitation: "I
would have to go Paul Scholes."
"I don't think people have given him the credit he
deserves. (He's) one of the best, if not the best, I've played
against, he could do anything."
"Unfortunately for him, when he was playing for the
national team, for England, sometimes people didn't see it
like that."
"If I had a Paul Scholes in my team, everything would be
around him. At Manchester United, they saw it like that,
but I think Paul Scholes is one of the best I've played
against in this league, and seen anywhere."
It's not just players to grace the Premier League who know
about Scholes' undoubted and underrated talent.
Barcelona legend Xavi once labelled the Englishman "the
best midfield player in the last 20 years'"
